At least seven people were killed and dozens injured when a truck with more than 70 people on board overturned in Plateau state, central Nigeria.
Xinhua news agency quoted Peter Longsan, spokesman for the Safety Corps in Plateau, as telling reporters today that an accident occurred on a road near the village of Guak located in the Mango local government area of the state, when a truck driver lost control, which led to its overturning, killing seven people and injuring. Dozens injured, among the 70 people on board.
Last week, 12 people were killed, and others were injured, as a result of a traffic accident on the highway in Sokoto state, northwest Nigeria.
