Jarushi, who is considered one of the most prominent figures in the underworld, was shot dead last weekend. Now, some of the directions of the investigation indicate that it was an assassination from within his own family

For decades, Ali Jeroshi of Ramla, who was murdered last weekend, has been considered one of the prominent figures in the criminal organizations in Israel.

More than 14 years ago, he began to be known outside the underworld when he made arbitrations in front of me live, and in recent years he has also served as an arbitrator between citizens from the localities close to him.

He was always the one who had the last word.

Jerushi became a household name in the matter, all the people who needed to reach a settlement would come to him and he was always the one who said the "last word" - the few times, if any, his decisions would not be followed.

"He was unusually smart, charismatic," said a person who knew him for years.

"In my opinion, in recent years he was not involved in the criminal organizations, but more of a sergeant associated with the Jerushi family."

After he was shot to death, the police examined several lines of investigation, including the elimination of accounts from the factions within the Jarushi family.

Also, the possibility is being examined that the case is also related to the assassination of the head of the crime organization Bnei Shlomo last October.

Now, the police fear that the murder will lead to more revenge attempts in the underworld.

Related to his elimination?

The name of the Jerushi family was recently brought up in the context of the elimination of Bnei Shlomo.

After the assassination of the head of the criminal organization, the police arrested his right-hand man, Eyal Nagar, following suspicions that he was planning revenge, and Hamaza Milad, from the Jarushi family, was also arrested, as he was suspected of planning to eliminate Nagar.

Nagar pointed an accusing finger at Jarushi's organization, whose members were arrested after Shlomo's assassination.

Nagar is considered a prominent figure in the world of crime, and for years was considered close to Shlomo and an accomplice.

Like Solomon, Nagar also made many enemies in the underworld.

Nagar and Milad were removed from the southern region and remained under house arrest, but it is estimated that they will try to continue trying to hurt each other.
