The Ballermann hit "Go get a beer" is usually roared on Mallorca - but the Passau soprano now sang the song in a "highly romantic style".

Passau - Theresa Pilsl from Passau is considered a highly talented soprano, is one of Germany's young opera stars and has already won numerous scholarships and prizes - the 30-year-old has also been a licensed doctor since 2021.

In 2023 there will be another – albeit unofficial – success: Pilsl is responsible for the next viral video from Bavaria.

Ballermann hit in an angelic soprano voice: viral video from Bavaria

In addition to the long-running hit of the "funniest cat video in the world", which comes from Bavaria, Ingolstadt's Stefan Leonhardsberger also made it into the illustrious circle of viral videos from Bavaria in 2022 with his "Walk like a President" parodies, which were shared millions of times.

Theresa Pilsl does not yet have millions of clicks – but is on the right track.

Her video has already garnered more than 200,000 clicks on YouTube.

In it she sings, in an angelic soprano voice, the Ballermann hit "Go get a beer" by Mickie Krause.

It was uploaded by Simon Mack, who came up with the idea and composition, Daniel Gerzenberg sits at the piano, and the whole thing was recorded by Florian Rauscher.

The “cleverest nonsense”: Users celebrate the reinterpretation

For many users on YouTube, two worlds collide in the viral video.

On the one hand there is Pilsl's soprano voice, which sings "'Go get a beer' as an art song in a highly romantic style" (that's the title of the video), but the lines of the text clearly originate from the Ballermann on Mallorca.

It is not for nothing that the quintessence of the song by Mickie Krause is: "Go get a beer, you're ugly again, one or two beers and you're beautiful again".

"That's the neatest nonsense I've ever heard.

I feel exalted and tormented at the same time,” writes one user, for example.

Another is pleased with the non-German-speaking users who find this video - "and think it's an innocent, euphonious romantic composition."

In fact, the reinterpretation comes from a whole series of covers of various Ballermann hits and German party songs.

For example, there is Andreas Gabalier's "Hulapalu" in the romantic style on Simon Mack's channel, as well as the classic "Saufen" in the form of an aria.
