As part of the unit's covert activity, the detectives identified the suspicious movement of four women who had landed on a flight from Germany, and during the monitoring of the movement of the suspects along the route of entry into Israel from the plane's gate, through the passport control to the collection of the luggage, the detectives were able to link them to the crime of larceny.
During the inspection of the suspects' luggage, the unit's detectives discovered over 15 kg of substances suspected to be cocaine and ketamine, which were disposed of in shampoo bottles and in boxes of food and health supplements, and these were transferred to the forensic laboratories of the Israel Police for further evidence extraction.
Another suspect, who was with Eitan on the flight, was arrested outside the airport along with her partner and another suspect, a relative of hers, who tried to hide the drugs.
This morning the six were brought to a hearing at the Peace Court in Rishon Lezion. The police asked to extend their detention while they continue their investigation.

The thwarting of the large drug smuggling operation and the arrest join another achievement of the unit from last weekend, during which the unit, in cooperation with Merhav Yaftah, arrested three couples and another man who tried to smuggle into Israel over 40 liters of a substance suspected of being GBL, known as the "rape drug".
