At the same time in the same compound, in another search of the entrance floor where parents live with their six children, a search was conducted during which it was found in one of the rooms of the house A large iron cage with a lock and inside it a child about one and four years old when he is locked inside the cage.
The detectives were shocked by the sight and immediately rescued the boy from the cage.
Pillows and a bottle of the child were found in the cage.
The mother, who was not present in the apartment, was brought to the scene and arrested by the detectives for false imprisonment, neglect of a helpless minor and abuse of a helpless minor.
Welfare officials from the Haifa Municipality were called to the scene and immediately began treating all the children of the home.
The 35-year-old mother, a resident of Haifa, was arrested on the spot, brought in for questioning and imprisoned.
The police will ask to extend the detention of the mother and the two suspects at the court in Haifa.
