According to the investigation, it appears that Stern's body was found in his home, and it is suspected that he was beaten to death during a fight that developed over the suspect's financial debt to Stern.
It also emerged from the initial investigation that after the fight, Stern returned to his home, where he died, apparently from a blow to the head.
