Amiens: the mayor begs Madonna on video to recover the mysterious missing painting

"Madonna, you probably don't know Amiens."

Thus begins Brigitte Fouré, mayor (UDI) of this city, in a video addressed to the star and which will soon circulate on social networks.

Recorded last Friday, it's a bottle in the sea in an attempt to obtain

one of the paintings from the singer's collection.

A reproduction of this very erotic

- a painting that could be the one thought to have been destroyed in the bombardment of the museum in 1918 - can be seen in the background, to the left of the office of the first aedile.

Did the pop star unknowingly acquire this work by Jérôme-Martin Langlois (1779-1838), commissioned by Louis XVIII for the Salle de Diane at Versailles and which, purchased by the State in 1873, had been deposited in Amiens until she mysteriously disappears?

Or does Madonna hold only an old copy, offered as such at auction by Sotheby's in New York in 1989, and which was awarded to her for 1.3 million dollars?…
