Deputies: the K fail to seduce the 'middle' blocks and the entire agenda of extraordinary events is in danger

2023-01-16T01:45:32.931Z

Without PvC support, FdT needs other slots. The trial of the Court increased the complications.

If the ruling party fails to break the unified position of Together for Change, one of its objectives with the impeachment request to the Supreme Court and the extensive and in some points striking agenda for extraordinary sessions, it will have an

uphill scenario in Deputies

to advance even with the projects that do not generate so many controversies.

It happens that the minority blocks, the so-called "middle" outside the two main coalitions, do not show a predisposition to accompany the Frente de Todos in a session either.

The ruling party brings together

118 deputies, eleven less than the majority of 129

necessary to enable debates in the venue and ensure the approval of the projects.

Without the agreement of Together for Change, which announced that it will not discuss any issue while the impeachment process against Horacio Rosatti, Carlos Rosenkrantz, Ricardo Lorenzetti and Juan Carlos Maqueda is underway, the bloc led by Germán Martínez has less room for maneuver not only for the issues of the judicial package, such as the reform of the Council of the Magistracy and the expansion of the Highest Court to 15 members.

Also for the economic projects promoted by Sergio Massa and others pending from last year.

Beyond the fact that some points were

included to exhibit them rather than with the intention that they be effectively dealt with

, such as the statement by Daniel Rafecas for the Prosecutor's Office, thrown out in the Senate almost three years ago, it is assumed that the Frente de Todos will make attempts to Activate the activity in the commissions and convene a session in the Deputies.

Removing the ruling party and the 116 members of Together for Change, there are

23 legislators

left in the lower house.

The first reaction of the eight of the Federal Interbloc was to reject the conflict with the Court and from that to the rest of the agenda, in a position similar to JxC.

“Alberto Fernández launched his re-election on January 1, announcing that he is going to overturn the Court and within a few hours they threatened to modify the Judicial Council by DNU.

In this context,

if Massa wants to deal with economic issues, let him settle it with the President and don't blame the opposition

,” Alejandro Topo Rodríguez, head of the space made up of three Buenos Aires residents, assured this newspaper;

three people from Cordoba who report to Juan Schiaretti, the governor who announced his electoral strategy last week;

and two socialists from Santa Fe.

Unenthusiastic

"Most of the issues have nothing to do with an agenda that responds to the interests of the majority of workers

," said Nicolás del Caño when asked by

Clarín

.

The four left legislators could support specific issues, such as the pension debt payment plan and the creation of universities, pending in 2022. In the case of universities, the ruling party will insist on seeking the support of Evolución radical legislators.

In turn, the four Liberals agreed to analyze the agenda in the event of a call, although they have already expressed themselves against the Government's judicial agenda and dismissed the rest of the projects.

Unfortunately, none changes the reality of the Argentines.

On the contrary, it shows that the ruling party does nothing more than look at its navel ”, they advanced near Carolina Píparo.

The most predisposed to endorse a session are the four (two from Rio Negro and two missionaries) from Provincias Unidas.

“We do not agree with the proposal of the impeachment to the Court.

We are going to do everything that has to do with giving a quorum to debate other issues”, Luis Di Giácomo told this newspaper, and pointed out against the two main coalitions: “

Irresponsibility belongs to the Front of All and Together for Change .

Some presenting issues that are not going to prosper and others refusing to address important issues.

The rest are Rolando Figueroa from Neuquén, Claudio Vidal from Santa Cruz and Felipe Alvarez from La Rioja, the first two closest to the ruling party to give a quorum and the third generally aligned with Together for Change.

In turn, the ruling party would have to

gather its 118 deputies, something not so simple

in this scenario.

Roberto Mirabella, from Santa Fe, was absent in the last session-he complained that important issues for his province were not being discussed-and this weekend he distanced himself from the impeachment trial of the Court.
