With the aim of developing the basic skills of the child, today the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the Vanguards of the Baath Organization launched a workshop entitled “Child Entrepreneurship”, at the Youth Empowerment Center in Damascus.
The 8-day workshop aims to help children from 6 to 12 years old determine their career options early, learn about the professions surrounding their community, benefit from the experiences of those in the labor market, and motivate the importance of practical training in all fields so that the child can determine his professional knowledge path. .
Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhammad Firas Al-Nabhan indicated that the workshop targets about 25 children from the pioneers in Damascus to enhance their professional work culture, indicating that it comes in implementation of the terms of the partnership agreement with the organization, and it is planned to carry out a set of activities to discover the talents of children and put them in the right direction .
The head of the organization’s Office of Culture and External Relations, “Nama Shaddoud,” explained that it is necessary to train children in entrepreneurship in the future, pointing out that the activities that will be included in the workshop are important in enhancing their talents and unleashing and nurturing aspects of creativity in them.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Social Affairs signed in November of last year a memorandum of understanding with the Vanguards of the Baath Organization to implement various projects and activities, with the aim of empowering children from 6 to 12 years old, providing them with psychological and material support and working on building their capacities.
