A day after the re-establishment of the Ministry of Information, with a budget of approximately NIS 19 million, the incoming minister announced her first action plan - the establishment of an information headquarters for the reform of Justice Minister Yariv Levin. According to her, Netanyahu gave the issue a "green light"

Incoming Information Minister Galit Distal Atabrian announced today (Monday) that she intends to establish an information headquarters for the legal reform of Justice Minister Yariv Levin.

Distal Atabrian wrote on Twitter: "I appealed to the Prime Minister to establish an emergency headquarters to explain the satellite reform. In view of the public panic created by deliberate deception on the part of the media and the left-wing parties - I intend to make the details of the reform accessible to the public and detail the works. Netanyahu gave me the green light. Soon Israel will become a democracy more and the public will receive organized factual information."

Yesterday the government re-established the ministry of information which was reinvented for the purpose of working arrangements for Likud members.

Distel was appointed Minister of Information and yesterday the government approved the allocation of a budget of approximately NIS 19 million, but without any detail of the purpose of the budget, or of the powers and responsibilities of the new office.

Two weeks ago at the swearing-in of the government, Distal Atbarian was appointed as a minister in the Prime Minister's Office, but last week Netanyahu decided to make a change and announced that she was a replacement for the Minister of Information - so that he could appoint Mai Golan as a minister in the Prime Minister's Office, that is, a minister without a portfolio.
