The chairman of Yisrael Beitenu made it clear that he and his people will not come to the demonstrations against the legal reform: "We are the only party that is right-wing, we support the passage of amplification with a majority of 70 MKs. Gantz: "Netanyahu knows that a protest in the streets is effective otherwise he would not have gone out himself to the incitement demonstrations in Zion Square "

Live broadcast of the faction meetings

As every week, even today the faction meetings are held in the shadow of the continuation of the discussions in the Knesset's Constitution Committee on the legal reform.

The first faction was Israel Beitenu and the chairman of the party, MK Avigdor Lieberman, referred to the fact that he and members of his party were absent from the protests against the reform: "We clearly said that we are the only party in the Knesset that is a right-wing party. We will not be at demonstrations of black flags or Palestinian flags."

Lieberman also said: "I see a fruitful cooperation between Tibi and Bibi. There is a deep deal between them, so we will not be there. We have a clear concept regarding the judicial system. We support a superseding clause with a majority of 70 MKs, but we are not in favor of running over everything." .

Afterwards, the chairman of the state camp, MK Benny Gantz, referred to the legal reform.

Gantz referred to his call to hold a joint discussion on the issue.

"Our outstretched hand did not come to sign the kosher to change the regime in Israel in exchange for cosmetic fixes - if there is no deep change in the reform, there will be no agreements."

Gantz also sent a message to Netanyahu: "He also knows that protesting in the streets is effective, otherwise he would not have gone out on his own to the inciting demonstrations in Zion Square. I call on the protesters - to continue to go out and protest within the law. I called for dialogue and the creation of an agreed basis for reforms. I again call for the establishment of working teams, which will be submitted to the Knesset A proper and broad reform including additional layers on top of the existing ones."

Gantz, who was the one who decided to appoint Hatzi Halevi as Chief of Staff, congratulated him today on the occasion of his assumption of the position of soldier number 1: "He is a commander who is honest as a rule, bold, deep and creative.

I am confident that he will lead the IDF in a stately way, will continue to build the force, and will protect the forces which are our most precious thing. The people and the spirit of the IDF are what build the IDF, and I have no doubt that Harci knew how to develop them and maintain them in the face of any scenario - security, social or one characterized by difficulties of political origin".

The discussion earlier in the Knesset was particularly stormy when the Deputy Legal Advisor to the Government, Attorney Gil Limon, warned against the law known as the "Osvocators Law" and said that in such a situation - "the government will not be subject to the law - it will be the law".

Justice Minister Yariv Levin arrived Later in the discussion, he responded to Limon's words while blaming the legal advisor to the government, Gali Beharve-Miara, on the issue of the law: "The opinion is saturated with demagogic examples, it is by ignoring one thing that if a minister acts contrary to a legal opinion and it turns out to be a correct opinion, the minister will bear the consequences.

I think there is no more instructive example of the need for the reforms I am bringing than what we have just heard.

The deputy ombudsman appears here, presenting a legal position on a very important issue that concerns an indisputable matter that is at the core of my office's activities. When do you think I heard or could have read this opinion? Believe it or not now - this is the first time I have heard of it."

Levin also said: "You don't have flower pots in the offices because the minister is your flower pot. Is there any parliament in the world where something like this could happen?" shouted the Minister of Justice.

"I was busy anyway, but I could have been caught. Yesterday there was a yeshiva in my room with the participation of the ombudsman and her successors, including Gil Limon, do you think someone told me at the yeshiva about what is going to be here?

is nothing.

Maybe they will hear my opinion?"
