The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in the Sultanate of Oman, Saud bin Hammoud Al Habsi, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Oman, Dr. Idris Mia, means of strengthening cooperation relations and exchanging experiences between the two brotherly countries in the field of the agricultural sector.
During a meeting between the two sides today, Minister Al-Habsi expressed his country's readiness to provide expertise in the agricultural field, especially with regard to palm trees and date production.
For his part, Ambassador Mia stressed the importance of following up on all issues and issues that were discussed during the meeting that took place in Muscat, on the 25th of last November, between the Ministers of Agriculture of the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by the Counselor at the Embassy, Fatouh Qudsia, and the Director of International Cooperation at the Omani Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Rahma Al-Hajri.
