Faced with record-breaking inflation, and hitting essential products squarely, there are those who can get a
little relief
thanks to official aid.
If they pay for basic purchases
with a debit card
, instead of using bills, the State will then
return 15%
of what they paid.
For example, if they use the plastic to
spend $6,000
, they will receive a refund of
$900
.
If they pay
$10,000
at various businesses to bring merchandise home, about
$1,500
will return to their pocket.
And after paying
$27,000
with debit throughout the month, there are those who will receive even more than
$4,000 in returns
.
This is valid for consumption in
supermarkets
, convenience stores,
warehouses
, kiosks,
butcher shops
, farms, fishmongers, greengrocers, bakeries and other retail and wholesale businesses that sell essential products
to
final consumers.
The benefit, arising from emergency law 27,541 and recently extended by the AFIP until June
30, 2022
, is not for everyone, but rather aims to alleviate
vulnerable
sectors such as lower-income older adults and holders of some
plans social
.
To access the refund it is necessary to pay with a debit card instead of using cash.
