At the train stations in Schäftlarn and Ebenhausen, people are annoyed about full garbage cans.

Deutsche Bahn has a suspicion.

Schäftlarn

- What's going on with the waste disposal at the train stations in Hohenschäftlarn and Ebenhausen?

"For two months now, the Deutsche Bahn rubbish bins on the S7 platforms have only been emptied very irregularly, sometimes not at all," reads the community letter.

The administration has already contacted the competent authority in this regard.

Disposal as always

"The cleaning intervals of our stations depend, among other things, on the number of passengers," said a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn when asked by the Munich Merkur.

At both stations, coarse waste is removed at regular intervals, and the waste bins are also emptied once a week.

"Hohenschäftlarn is always on Wednesdays, Ebenhausen on Fridays." According to the railway spokesman, nothing has changed in this interval in the past, and there are also no personnel restrictions.

Bahn has a guess

But: “In Hohenschäftlarn, unfortunately, we often find pizza boxes in the bins that have not been folded or shredded.

This may contribute to the perception that rubbish bins have not been emptied.” If passengers or station visitors notice unusual soiling, they can report this to the 3-S headquarters in Munich on 089/13 08 10 55.

The phone is available 24 hours a day.
