The Casa Rosada received with surprise the announcement made by the leader of the Civic Coalition
Elisa Carrió
, who announced that she will
file a criminal complaint
against President
Alberto Fernández
, the Minister of Economy,
Sergio Massa
, and the Secretary of Commerce,
Matías Tombolini
, for the government's decision to
add truckers
and picketers to
price controls in supermarkets
.
Although Carrió did not specify what crime he will sue them for, he publicly accused them of "breaking the rule of law" and "inciting violence" with the creation of "parapolice groups", something that the government rejected.
"
It is nonsense to the extent of Carrió
. The complaint does not deserve or resist further analysis, no judge can take it seriously," they indicated from Balcarce 50.
Other sources close to the President rehearsed -and exaggerated- another response: "
Alberto didn't even find out and we are not going to pay the slightest attention to Carrió
."

While from the Civic Coalition they indicated that during this Monday Carrió will finish defining the terms of the complaint,
the Government has already added another complaint for the maneuver
: according to the site Mdzol.com, José Magioncalda, Juan Martín Fazio and José Patiño, leaders of the Apolo Foundation, criminally denounced Tombolini for breach of the duties of a public official;
and Oscar Borda, leader of the Logistics Branch of the Truckers Union, which carries out the tasks, for alleged "usurpation of public office."
Likewise, in the Government they denied that the Truckers union, led by Pablo Moyano, is going to exercise "police power".
"
They only verify and notify the Secretary (of Commerce) which is the one that oversees and the only one that can apply sanctions and fines
," they clarified.
"Internal Party"
In the ruling party they framed Carrió's announcement as "part of the inmate of Together for Change."
"
He is fighting for internal power and wants to raise the price to negotiate
," was the acid response of a high-ranking member of the Cabinet.
Despite the fact that Tombolini, the official who agreed with Pablo Moyano to join the controls, reports directly to Massa and that the economic area has political autonomy,
in La Rosada they defended the initiative to incorporate Truckers
into the control of the "Fair Prices" program ".
"To lower inflation it is logical that we all commit ourselves.
Who better than the workers to help?
" Justified a senior official who asked the media to "de-dramatize" and "not see ghosts because Truckers and Moyano are there."
In the Government, however, they rejected having asked Pablo Moyano to come out as spokesperson for the measure.
The general secretary of the CGT recounted on Monday how they were summoned
.
"We have spoken with Massa and Tombolini and they asked us for a collaboration to go to the distribution centers of the large supermarkets. In that are Coto, Carrefour, Día, Chango Más, and several others where unfortunately it was seen that the merchandise did not arrive to the gondolas. For example, 10 trucks of each product left, arrived at the supermarkets and filled two or three gondolas," said the trucker in FutuRock.
The curious thing is that Moyano raised the issue along the same lines as the government.
He questioned the media for "distorting the information" and noted that "
when truckers appear in any kind of agreement with the government, everything is magnified
."
"Our task is to report to the Secretary of Commerce if there are product shortages, and what are those products," he explained.
And he reaffirmed that "those who control and fine are the inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce."
