The fifth and sixth volumes of the Poetry Divan series (Alia Al-Shorouk) were published by the poet Wael Shaaban, which includes a group of measured vertical poetry.
The two parts are considered a continuation of the poet's career, which he began with the previous four parts, which included poetic chapters in poems that bear the intellectual, patriotic, spiritual, subjective, philosophical, human and other concerns of the poet.
The length of the poems varies between long, medium, verse and two verses from the different sixteen seas of Hebron, and bears the characteristics of the classic or traditional school of Arabic poetry from the unity of meter, rhyme and poetic verse to the elegance and lexicon of words and the adherence to the language and the way in which the ancients used it.
In the introduction to the fifth part, the poet says: “I present this part, which includes about 55 texts whose purposes and themes varied, and their lengths ranged from ones to tens. The expatriate, and on the frequent from the Arabian seas.
The sixth part includes more than sixty poems, and it is a continuation of the poet's project that he is working on in the diaspora, issuing it in his country and distributing it for free in various regions of Syria, with the aim of serving culture and thought.
The two volumes issued by Dar Baal in Damascus are in 160 pages of large pieces.
It is noteworthy that the poet holds a degree in information engineering, and works in the field of digital transformation outside Syria. He has published a number of books, including the four parts of Alia Al-Shorouk’s Diwan, and the novel Anis and Khadraa Al-Daman.
