MK Naama Lazimi from the Labor Party responded this morning (Monday) to an advertisement in "Israel Hayom", about the initiative of senior Likud officials to compare the salary of the President of the Supreme Court with that of the Prime Minister and Speaker of the Knesset.

"The salary of judges in Israel is high as is customary all over the world - to maintain the purity of morals and prevent bribery," tweeted the Knesset member who is ranked second on the party's list.

"The Likud want to damage their wages for the same reason that they want their center members to appoint judges through them, to make the judicial system hacked, corrupt and corrupt - there is no other explanation for this."
