"Otoniel" appears for the second time in Brooklyn 2:32

The alleged Colombian drug trafficker Dairo Antonio Úsuga, alias "Otoniel", who was captured in Colombia in October 2021 and later extradited to the United States, pleaded guilty to the charges against him, according to a document from the US Department of Justice which CNN had access to.
In the document, signed by Úsuga, his lawyer, a witness and the prosecutors of the Southern District of Florida and the Eastern District of New York, consent is given for the case to be transferred to the sentencing instance and pass from the jurisdiction of Florida to New York.

"Otoniel", who was considered one of the most wanted men in Colombia and for whom a reward of US$ 5 million was offered, remains in a detention center in Brooklyn.
The alleged top boss of the Clan del Golfo had so far pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, including an alleged participation in an international conspiracy to manufacture and distribute cocaine, among others.
