A royal couple without enthronement is like a regency without a kingdom.
The Fun Unlimited carnival fans had to wait three years for this.
This is one of the reasons why the gala ball in the Stadthalle was something very special.
Germering – proclamation or the first official presentation of the show program – the enthronement gala in the Orlando hall of the Stadthalle still evokes completely different emotions.
The festive setting, good-humoured people in elegant clothes, the lighting effects and the music help the “Fun Unlimited” (FU) program to have an even greater impact on the audience.
Premiere for second mayor
Manuela Kreuzmair, the second mayor of the large district town of Germering, was also happy to be infected.
She had taken over the part of the official key handover, which had also taken place for the first time in three years, on behalf of the ill mayor Andreas Haas.
"This is a premiere for me and I'm a little excited," admitted Kreuzmair.
After all, you don't hand over the town hall key every day.
Nor is it part of their normal everyday life to officially accompany the enthronement of carnival regents, so to speak.

The Prince Regent couple Gisela and Gerhard Fuchs showed a touch more composure.
The latter is sometimes in the limelight simply as the chairman of Fun Unlimited.
And yet both he and his wife could feel the joy of being officially inducted into the office of Prince Regent.
"We are proud to represent the large district town not only in the district, but also in the state capital Munich," said Gerhard Fuchs.
Much applause for the dance groups
The child prince couple Sarah Bendel and Alexander Fink felt the same way.
In their appearance, and that of the minis, children and teenagers under the motto "Magic Forest", it was noticeable that the security had noticeably increased compared to the show premiere a week ago. This allowed the junior groups to concentrate on enjoying the emotional moment of the enthronement .
The large show dance group was also able to give free rein to their temperament and joy.
This was rewarded with a lot of applause and the demand for an encore, which the dancers gladly complied with.
The catering also ran smoothly from an organizational point of view.
Due to renovation work in the Stadthallen gastronomy kitchen, the food had to be pre-ordered when purchasing the tickets.
Despite all the stress, the staff handled the service in a friendly, quick and at times patient manner.
Extra wishes could not be fulfilled.
Some visitors had to realize that there was no such thing as a double espresso.
"You're welcome to have two simple ones," they said.
The conclusion was formed by an after-show party, which was organized for the first time and took place from 1 a.m. in the old Agua restaurant.
