Eliezer Shweber ("the rousers"), and who has signed dozens of yeshiva songs, releases five new songs for the month of Tishrei, songs of yearning and holiness, songs written in the atmosphere of terrible days.
Four songs out of the five are performed by Shlomo Cohen, the fourth song on the list is You Hashem.
Shlomo Cohen, one of the greatest soulful singers, a singer whose voice is only secondary to his Jewish singing talent, who elevates the song and connects the listeners with the powerful words.
For fifteen years this song has been in the head and in the drawer of Eliezer Shweber.
He came to the words and the melody when he was in one of his saddest hours, yes, the rhythm of the song may be misleading: "At some point I fell into a deep depression and was looking for a way out of there, I got caught up in the words that lifted me up, the melody dressed them... and me."
"When I heard the song for the first time, I immediately connected to it," says Shlomo Cohen.
"It's one of those songs that never ends, a beautiful melody and words that match the melody in an extraordinary way 'No, your mercy will not be consumed'. You sing confidently because it is obligatory to trust in God, and on the other hand you are God, I cry out to God for salvation. It is the essence of every Jew to trust, to pray and to trust again ...".
As in his previous albums ("The Stimulators", and "The Stimulators 2"), albums that have become musical icons among Torah members and yeshivots - this time, he also enlists the best available forces in the field of Hasidic poetry, to sing his songs.
The production and recording was also done in Eliezer's studio in Jerusalem.
