The youth chairman of the party and an intern in the office of the former minister Merav Cohen - are the people behind the group that calls on Israeli students to oppose the transfer of powers in the field of education to Avi Maoz and against the cancellation of the matriculation reform.

The student protest?

Yesh Atid protest:

the youth chairman of the party and an intern in the office of the former minister Merav Cohen (on behalf of the party) - are the people behind the group that calls on Israeli students to protest in front of the government on the issue of education. They call to oppose the transfer of powers in the field of education to Avi Maoz, and also call not to Cancel, not cancel, the reform of the humanities baccalaureate.

In recent days, an Instagram page named "Student Protest" was established, which calls on students to join the struggle and declares "we will not allow damage to education on political grounds."

But those who manage this page and share it - are young people who have positions in the structure of the Yesh Atid party.

It is important to note that despite the relationship between the administrators of the page and Lish Atid - full disclosure is not specified.

The page, which these days is trying to gain momentum, also has a closed WhatsApp group where only the administrators can post.

The two managers are: Dvir Pulaski, who serves as the youth chairman of Yesh Atid. Shuvel Locker, a school student who is active in Yesh Atid and interns with the former minister on behalf of the party, Merav Cohen, also works alongside him.

In recent days, the members of the group as well as the followers are called to share various videos, against the decisions of the current government, but without mentioning the Yesh Atid party.

However, correspondence and testimonies received by Israel Hayom show that various parties in the party are involved in the group.

And if that's not enough, the group, which is supposed to be intended mainly for students, also serves as a platform for the Weiser spokeswoman, who ran on a new Tikva list led by Gideon Sa'ar for the Knesset.

Weiser's name has recently been associated with quite a few scandals, among other things, a recording of her was circulated on social networks in which she blatantly shouts at council members, including the mayor of Ramat Hasharon - where she was a council member.

"I went in there by mistake"

As mentioned, one of the goals of the "Students' Protest" page is to fight against the cancellation of the baccalaureate reform of the previous Minister of Education, Yifat Shasha Biton.

According to the reform, the external matriculation exams in the humanities (history, Bible, literature and citizenship) were canceled and in their place the students were supposed to submit a multidisciplinary summary paper. However, upon taking office, the new Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, canceled the reform.

It should be noted that Weiser, who as mentioned is in the group, is considered to be in good relations with the former Minister of Education, Yifat Shasha Biton, and even stayed at her house.

Weiser said in response that "I have no connection to the group or the protest, apparently I entered there by mistake."

Mish Atid said: "We are proud of the student protest, our youth and their public and political action. We call on all students to join them."
