The investigation of the case revealed that the two-year-old found the 9 mm gun in the drawer of his father's desk. Now, the authorities in Indiana, where the case took place, say that the father is expected to be charged with neglect. The father told the police investigation that he and his wife had recently been ill, and both were trying to stay awake to take care of the child.
