The Directorate of Theaters and Music, the “National Theater” in Homs, has resumed the “Children’s Theater” festival, during the school recess, with various performances presented by the Happy Magic Band today, and attended by a large number of children and parents.
The band's performances included magic and dancing with various cartoon characters, in addition to competitions.
In a statement to SANA reporter between the Director of Homs Culture and the National Theater, Hassan Labbad, this play comes within the activities of the Children's Theater Festival aimed at children during their midterm vacation, with the aim of providing fun and benefit to them, and motivating them to develop their various talents.
In a related context, the Directorate of Homs Culture, the “Life Skills Team,” continued the activities of the “Childhood Joy” festival, through a series of morning activities that were held in the children’s section, including shadow play, storytellers, drawing and works workshops.
Aya Al-Saleem, supervisor of the Children's Department, stated that the activities were carefully selected to suit different ages, and to enable them to spend useful and entertaining time in fun ways.
In turn, the supervisor, Rasha Muhammad, spoke about the interaction of children in the various events, and the large number that participated today.
Today's activities concluded with a screening of an animated film.
