A 41-year-old man who presented himself as an "
expert in seduction
" and "masculinity", has been appearing since Tuesday January 17 before the Assize Court in Versailles, accused of having murdered his ex-partner with 80 stab wounds, and of repeatedly stabbing her sister.
In January 2020, Mickaël Philétas went to the home of Mélanie G., in the Yvelines, “
obsessed
” according to him with the idea of knowing if she had been dating another man since their breakup a few months earlier.
80 stabs
He had entered in the middle of the night at the young woman of 34 years, who was in her room with her new companion.
According to the autopsy, the accused allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend 80 times that night, who was pronounced dead on the spot shortly after the arrival of help.
Mickaël Philétas was arrested the next day, in the Rhône department.
Presenting himself as a zumba teacher, the accused also hosted a Youtube channel with nearly 1,000 videos, in which he called himself a "
virtuoso of seduction
", "
a specialist in masculinity
" and vilified the "
castration
" of men by their companions.

The night of the crime, before going to the victim's room, the accused would first have come across the little sister of his ex-partner, aged 23, asleep in the living room.
Under the threat of a knife, he would have forced her to be silent, before lowering her pants and her panties, handcuffing her and stabbing her.
She will receive nearly thirty during the night.
An investigator heard on Tuesday explained to the court that she had "
never seen in sixteen years of experience such a bloody crime scene
".
“
There were some on the walls, on the floors, in the bed
,” she listed at the bar.
Mickaël Philétas, dark green sweater and black goatee, is on trial for murder, attempted murders of Mélanie G.'s sister and partner, as well as sexual assault at gunpoint.
Already convicted of domestic violence
In 2015, he was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence for violence against a former partner.
The parents, the sisters, the daughter of Mélanie G., now 11 years old, as well as her companion are civil parties to the trial.
The verdict is scheduled for January 25.
