The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau announced today (17th) the appointment of Dr. Adrian Cheng as the Chairman of the Cultural and Arts Major Events Committee (Mega Events Committee) and Chan Lee Ai-lun as the Vice-Chairman.

The term of the Mega Events Committee is two years, from February 1 this year to January 31, 2025.

According to the Bureau, the Mega Events Committee advises the Government on strategies to attract arts and cultural events to Hong Kong, advises on the operation of the Arts and Cultural Events Fund (MEF), and assists the Government in reviewing applications under the MEF.
