Deri demanded from Netanyahu: if the appointment is invalidated by the High Court - cancel the reason of reasonableness as soon as possible | Israel Hayom

The entire political system is waiting for the High Court's decision on the appointment of the Minister of Interior and Health • The question that remains open: how long will Deri be forced to wait outside the court if the appointment is rejected • In the shadow of the demand: Netanyahu's associates said that the Prime Minister will respect the court's ruling and not "break the tools"

While the political system is waiting for the High Court's ruling regarding the appointment of Deri as minister, the chairman of Shas demanded that Netanyahu withdraw the reason for reasonableness as soon as possible, if the appointment is rejected. This demand comes in the shadow of the publication in "Israel Hayom" that if the High Court fires Netanyahu fire Deri, then the Prime Minister will do so and not "break the tools", according to his associates.

In the event that the appointment is rejected on the grounds of improbability, several questions remain open - will it really be possible to cancel the reason for improbability in an expedited manner as Deri demands.

And how long will Deri be forced to wait outside the government, without a ministerial position.

Earlier we published that Netanyahu's entourage told "Israel Today" regarding the possibility that Minister Deri's appointment would be disqualified: "The Prime Minister will express his protest but fire Deri, and thus show the public the situation in which the people elect a person and the judges disqualify him.

There will be no breaking of dishes."

"If the High Court forces Netanyahu to fire Deri, he will act according to the High Court's ruling, but everyone should know that the court forced the Prime Minister, against his will, to fire a minister," say Netanyahu's associates and add: "There is a tremendous struggle here and there is an opportunity here To show those who still think they don't need Justice Minister Levin's corrections to understand why he is wrong. If there is anyone in our public who thinks that Levin exaggerated, there will be a judgment reserved for the prime minister to fire a minister - the head of a party elected by the public - and convince him.

"For the public to understand, the prime minister should reluctantly do this act, express his protest and everyone will see what is happening here. A prime minister who fires a minister against his will will be an act that will go down in history."

According to them, "Netanyahu will do it, there's no way he won't. Unlike them (the judicial system - Yash) we don't break the rules.

As long as the law allows the court to do these things, the law must be maintained, but we will fix things.

You need to understand where the limit is.

We won't get involved in the trial and the judges won't get involved in governance."

Also, in closed conversations, Deri referred to the expected verdict and said: "I don't know what the course of action will be. Netanyahu, Levin and the coalition need to find a solution, this is not a specific issue of Shas, there is a struggle here between two extremes and we have entered the line of fire.

Obviously, it is impossible to continue with the situation where the court hurts the people who went to the polls.

I know Netanyahu wants to solve the problem."

According to Deri, "I will not resign. The petition is not against me, it is against the Prime Minister who needs to fire me. What do they want, that I help the High Court pull the chestnuts out of the fire?

The public chose me - not the Supreme Court chose me."

Netanyahu's office refused to respond to Deri's demand.

Deri's office said in response to the report: "These things are not true."

were we wrong
