The police arrested a 20-year-old Ofakim resident tonight (Tuesday) on suspicion of breaking into a bank in the city.
The suspect was caught red-handed while on the spot, after the police received a report around 1:00 a.m. that the branch had been broken into.
The police officers, who arrived at the scene with increased force, noticed that the main door had been smashed, and realized that the suspect was probably there.
They entered the branch and arrested him.
In the documentation of the event, you can see the police enter the scene, order the suspect to lie down on the floor and rush to handcuff him.

The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.
Today he will be brought before the Beer Sheva Magistrate's Court for a hearing on the extension of his detention.
