"What they typically do is prevent serious acts of violence like what just happened in Goshen, because that ruins their business, it draws a laser focus from law enforcement," says Adam Isacson, director for Defense Oversight at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA).
The security analyst says that the massacre recorded in Goshen, California, where six people died, does not correspond to the typical behavior of criminal groups in the US.
