Granting two licenses to two companies that provide passenger transportation services through two electronic applications

The Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority granted two licenses to two companies that provide passenger transportation services through the two electronic applications “Waselni” and “Wadini”, after completing the approval of the Ministry of Transport.

The authority stated on its Facebook page that the grants came based on Law No. 16 of 2021, and the system for using the electronic application for passenger transport issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 55 M.W dated 7-8-2021, and the Council of Commissioners Resolution No. 33 dated 8-28. -2021, which judges approving the standard licensing system for using the electronic application in providing passenger transportation service.

The authority indicated that providers of passenger transportation service through an electronic application, who are not duly licensed, can apply to the authority to obtain the necessary license within fifteen days from its date, otherwise the applications will be suspended from working and the necessary legal measures will be taken, calling on those wishing to know the details.
