On video: Hamas publishes a video of alleged Mengistu (according to copyright law 27a)
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited today (Tuesday) the Samaria region of the General Security Service.
As part of the visit, which he carried out together with the head of the Shin Bet Ronan Bar, Netanyahu received a broad intelligence and
operational review of the unit's activities in all sectors - with an emphasis on operations to counter terrorism.

He also added that "in the face of murderous terrorism, we will use an iron fist. We will know how to reach them anytime and anywhere."

At the end of the visit, Netanyahu referred to a video published last night by Hamas - in which Avra Mengistu's first message from captivity.
"Israel does not stop its efforts to return Avra Mengistu and the rest of our captives and missing people," he said.
"Yesterday we received another confirmation of what we knew all along - Avra is alive. This is a young man who is not in the health line."
He concluded his remarks by saying that he was responsible for Mengistu's fate.
"This is a young man, who is not in good health," he said.
"The responsibility for his fate rests entirely on Hamas."
