Police officers arrested a 20-year-old suspect tonight (between Monday and Tuesday) in breaking into a bank in Ofakim.
The policemen who arrived at the scene with increased force noticed that the main front door was smashed when they entered the bank, noticed the burglar and caught him red-handed.
The suspect was taken to the police station for questioning.
At the end he was arrested, and he will be brought to a hearing today at the Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court with a request to extend his detention.
