Scent: a colorful jasmine

ANALYSIS - Close to many artistic figures since its creation, Guerlain launches a playful composition where the aesthetics of Henri Matisse, undisputed master of color and light, emerges.


Guerlain's L'Art & La Matière high perfumery collection resembles an olfactory art gallery.

Since its creation in 2005, it has translated the aesthetic emotions of the in-house perfumers, Delphine Jeck and Thierry Wasser.

It doesn't matter the genre, the era, the origin of the work that fascinated them, as long as it can dialogue with their palette of raw materials.

There are now around twenty creations including Rose Barbare echoing Georges Bizet's opera Carmen, Néroli Outrenoir and its olfactory correspondences with the work of Pierre Soulages, Musc Outreblanc with regard to Rodin's sculptures...

It is now Jasmin Bonheur's turn to exalt the colors of Henri Matisse.

He is the painter of joie de vivre and of light, this light from the South which illuminates most of his paintings.

The jasmine that we have shaped here is therefore necessarily luminous

This flower may well be part of the famous Guerlinade alongside bergamot, rose...
