The district court in Haifa today (Tuesday) sentenced a woman to life imprisonment for murdering her partner in 2018. In addition, she will have to pay NIS 258,000 in compensation to the victims of the crime.

The deceased, 66 years old, was a polio patient and suffered from a severe limp at home.

He was killed while organizing to go to work to provide for his family, as he had done all his life despite his disability.

The accused stabbed the deceased while he was sitting on a chair, about 65 times in his face, neck, stomach, chest and back with the intention of causing his death;

First she stabbed him with a knife for cutting vegetables that she took in her hand from the kitchen, noticing that the blade of this one was bent due to the stabbing.

She went to the kitchen, took a meat knife, returned to the deceased and continued to stab him.

The accused did not stop her actions, despite the deceased's many pleas to call an ambulance to save him, until he fell down covered in his blood and breathed his last.
