The head of the Omani State Council, Abd al-Malik bin Abdullah al-Khalili, discussed with the Syrian ambassador to Oman, Dr. Idris Mia, ways to strengthen the brotherly relations of cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and the importance of upgrading them in all fields.
During the meeting between the two sides, Al-Khalili described the Syrian-Omani relations as fraternal and deep-rooted, and that the brotherly Omani side attaches all importance to developing these relations in all fields, for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Mia gave a presentation on the latest developments in Syria, especially with regard to the illegal practices carried out by the American and Turkish occupation, which constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and international law.
The meeting was attended by Minister Counselor Fatouh Qudsia, and on the Omani side, Mohammed Al-Nu'mani, Director of the Office of the President of the State Council.
