Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani affirmed that his country adheres to the approach of diplomacy, maintaining security and stability in the region, and making efforts to prevent the fall of any government at the hands of multinational terrorism.
During his meeting today with foreign military diplomats residing in Iran, Kanaani said: Iran has always tried to preserve its security and the security of neighboring countries, and has fought terrorism and the spread of weapons and drugs, pointing to the Iranian government's focus on expanding cooperation with Asian and Middle Eastern countries.
Kanaani pointed out that Iran has become an active member of the Shanghai Organization and continued its cooperation with the Eurasian Union and has taken important steps to prepare and sign long-term cooperation agreements with China and Turkey.
On the Vienna negotiations, Kanaani expressed his country's readiness to agree within its commitment to its red lines, stressing that the presence of hostile Western military forces in the Gulf waters causes destabilization of security and stability in the region, calling for a meeting of the foreign and defense ministries of the countries of the region to ensure security in the Gulf.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed the need for cooperation between the countries of the region to confront the plots of the Zionist entity and its ongoing crimes in the region.
