Hervé Legros, the president of the property development company Alila, specializing in social housing, was placed in police custody on Monday, according to the Lyon prosecutor's office.
Judicial information has been opened against the leader for acts of moral harassment and abuse of corporate assets, the prosecution confirmed to France 3. His wife was also placed in police custody in this case.
Searches at the headquarters and at his home
Several searches also took place, mobilizing several dozen police officers in the premises of Alila's headquarters, located in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon,

at the couple's home.
Founded in 2007 by Hervé Legros, who describes himself as a self-taught entrepreneur, Alila quickly established itself in the world of real estate development specializing in social housing.
