Today, the Military and Civil Administration of the city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye Province, southern Ukraine, announced that the Russian air defense units thwarted the Ukrainian army's attempt to bomb the city using multiple launch missile systems.
“Yesterday, Ukrainian forces used multiple launch missile systems to launch an attack on the city of Berdyansk to terrorize the civilian population in the Zaporozhye region, but the air defense units of the Russian Armed Forces shot down all the missiles that were fired at residential areas of the city,” the administration said in a statement reported by TASS.
According to the administration's statement, the Ukrainian bombing did not result in civilian casualties or serious damage.
