Today, the stage of the Palace of Culture in the city of As-Suwayda hosted a theatrical performance entitled “I dream that I am.”
The National Theater in As-Suwayda, written by Fawzi Al-Hadi, as part of the activities of the Children's Theater Festival, which is organized by the Directorate of Theaters and Music at the Ministry of Culture.
Director of the National Theater in As-Suwayda, director Rifaat Al-Hadi, explained in a statement to SANA that the peculiarity of this theatrical work lies in the fact that the writer of the text is a 13-year-old student in the eighth grade, and deals with a very important stage, which is adolescence, indicating that the text is one of the rare texts within the genre. The theatrical library that focuses on teenage issues, and was written in a literary theatrical format within a refined artistic language.
In turn, the young playwright, Fawzi Al-Hadi, indicated that this theatrical text is his first work in terms of composing theatrical texts, and adds to his experience in the field of theatrical acting, pointing out that the work raises a number of issues facing children in adolescence, including jealousy and diligence in School from the perspective of a child who is going through this stage.
The theatrical performance directed by Lujain Al-Hadi will be repeated tomorrow at the Palace of Culture in Suwayda.
