Mandy Lieu mortgaged the luxury mansion in Mid-Levels West with a market value of 120 million yuan, which was a high-rise unit, to pay off debts for Zhou Zhuohua's company.

"Hong Kong 01" reported in 2021 that Mandy Lieu signed a document across the ocean on November 4 of the same year, pledging the two people's "Love Nest" in front of Mid-levels West with a market value of 120 million yuan to a subsidiary of Melco International Development (0200). The one-man Suncity Gaming Intermediary Company wholly owned by Zhou Zhuohua and operating the VIP room in Macau is also the company wholly owned by Zhou Zhuowa and operating the VIP room in Macau.

Mandy Lieu agreed to take out the "Zhenran" unit as a loan guarantee. If there is a breach of contract such as overdue repayment, the unit will be confiscated.

Melco Crown later filed a petition with the High Court, requesting the court to order Mandy Lieu to hand over the surviving unit in order to secure the mortgage debt lent under the mortgage agreement.
