Stormy reactions to Deri's disqualification: "The government is breaking the law": (Walla system!)
Sources in the right-wing bloc said today (Wednesday) that in light of the High Court's ruling in the case of Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri, the option with the highest chances of keeping Deri in the political arena is to appoint him as an alternate prime minister in a government whose members will be re-sworn, this through non- Constructive trust. The assessment is based, among other things, on the reasons why Deri was disqualified for the position of minister, which are "extreme implausibility", as well as a false representation he presented to the court that he has no intention of returning to political life. Therefore, the cancellation of the reason of reasonableness alone will not be enough for Deri to return to serve as a minister However, in a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Derai at his home, they discussed the possibilities of keeping the Shas chairman in the government, despite the ruling.
Constructive no-confidence is a vote in which members of the Knesset must re-present the composition of the government, with all its ministers and policy lines.
So, when raising a motion of no confidence, the Knesset must also raise and vote by the majority of its members trust in an alternative government, i.e. re-satisfy it.
In any case, Deri and Netanyahu will soon have to decide who will replace Deri in the positions of Minister of the Interior and Minister of Health.
An alternate prime minister?

The appointment to the position of alternate prime minister may cause legal difficulties since the question of scandal will arise again, and Deri will have to deal with it again in the High Court. Another possibility is that Deri will decide to continue serving as a member of the Knesset only or serve only as Shas chairman and manage the party's affairs outside the Knesset , but the Shas estimates that this possibility is less likely.
Despite the assessments in the right-wing bloc, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that there will not be an alternate prime minister during his tenure.
We are a united government - without Prittite and without replacements," Netanyahu said at the first cabinet meeting about two weeks ago.
