The 26-year-old detainee who was attacked was taken to Rambam Hospital for treatment. The police are investigating how the two suspects managed to get a knife into the compound, with which they injured the young man. Shavas: The circumstances of the incident are under investigation

An unusual event took place last night (Tuesday) in the basement of the court in Haifa, on the floor of the detention cells of the prisoners who are being brought to conduct the proceedings against them.

Two detainees attacked another detainee, wounding him in the face, and he was taken while drinking blood to the Rambam Hospital in the city for treatment.

Haifa station police officers who were called arrived at the scene in a short time, began conducting preliminary investigations, and it emerged that one of the two, 41-year-old Shimon Abuhchira from Tira Carmel, who was brought by the Nachshon Unit from Zalmon Prison, and Eliyahu Isakov-Maruf, 27, of Menhary, who was brought by the unit from Shika Prison, apparently slipped a makeshift knife through his body. The two attacked the other detainee, a 26-year-old man, with whom they allegedly have a rivalry, with the knife. For an incident of harassment of a man from an organization with which they are identified.

Abuhchira and Iskov are accused that in January of last year they bombarded the Cadillac car of the wife of the criminal Noam Naftali near the house in the Carmel Castle.

The police stopped them a short time later, not far away.

Police neutralized the charge and it did not cause any damage or casualties, and the two have been arrested ever since.

Yesterday, at the district court in Haifa, another evidentiary hearing was held in the case.

Last night's incident took place after they were taken down to the detention cells in the basement of Judge Muhammad Ali's hall on the sixth floor.

Against the detainee who was attacked and seven others, an indictment was filed in June for conspiracy to commit murder, as revenge for the attempted assassination of the criminal Shay Kobs, by blowing up his car in Kiryat Haim, in March of last year.

A hearing in their case was supposed to take place yesterday, but then the prosecutor, Attorney Benny Pascal from the Haifa District Attorney's Office, informed Judge Erez Porat that the defendant, represented by Attorney Zohar Arbel, "was injured during his incarceration", that "the Nachshon Unit is now conducting investigations" and the prosecutor gave Because "it is not possible to bring the accused into the courtroom at all."

The hearing was adjourned until next week.

Sources familiar with the procedures for transferring detainees said to Walla!

Because apparently these are two failures of the Shevas, one who was put in the same cell with a detainee from a rival criminal gang, and the other who managed to pass all the checks and yet under the noses of the "Nachshon" people they managed to smuggle a knife into the court, which may have even been in their possession in the judge's hall. Abuhchira and Iskov were arrested, taken to the Haifa station for questioning, and eventually imprisoned.

Today, they were again brought to court, this time for the assault. With the consent of their defense attorney, Attorney Tomer moved to the recommendation of Judge Ahsan Halavi, and considering that they are already in custody in the other case they are handling, Judge Halavi extended the Detain them for five days, until next Sunday.

The Shin Bet reported that "the circumstances of the incident are under investigation and a police investigation, so we cannot address the issue at this stage." Attorney Tomer Neve told Walla in reference that "the investigation is only at its beginning."
