A small part of the Fien storm hits the Alpes-Maritimes.
During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, powerful waves caused some damage to the coast of the department.
The latter remains until Wednesday noon in yellow wave-submersion vigilance, according to forecasts from Météo France.
The waves remain strong and could still cross the dikes during the day.

, the Liautaud tunnel in the city center was closed on Wednesday morning by the Max-Gallo entrance.
The municipal services discovered early in the morning that a wave had brought a pile of waste, preventing the circulation of cars.

However, access to the seaside and therefore to the Promenade des Anglais and the Quai des Etats-Unis remains prohibited for pedestrians and cyclists.
