Quickly report unsanitary or unworthy housing, it is now possible in a few clicks on Histologe, the new platform set up by the Gironde prefecture in January.

Poor housing affects more than four million people nationwide in the rental stock and in Gironde, around 70,000 people occupy potentially unworthy housing (5.4% of the private stock)
", specify the services of the 'State.
From now on, tenants or landlords affected by a situation of poor housing (presence of pests, insulation problems, indecent housing, security risk, etc.) will be able to report their problem “
in less than 3 minutes
” and also “
upload photos and documents
” on Histologe.
Once their report has been made, “
the file is then sent to the competent services (CAF, town hall, ARS, etc.) within 48 hours
”.

This new online public service, which was officially installed in Gironde in September, is the result of the “
national data.gouv incubation program
”.
It replaces the paper report form of the Departmental Pole for the Fight against Unworthy Housing and Poor Housing (PDLHIml), in order to "
facilitate, accelerate and secure the handling of reports brought
" to its attention.
Although the Histologe platform has only been effective since the beginning of January in Gironde, seven reports have already been filed there.
