The Argentine Justice asked Interpol for the international capture of
Daniel Oscar Cherutti, brother of the actor and comedian Miguel Ángel
, who was part of the State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE) during the last military dictatorship and is accused of having participated in
hundreds of kidnappings, torture, theft of babies and murders
.
Cherutti is 76 years old and
his face was disclosed in the last hours by Interpol with a red alert
.
The request to the International Criminal Police Organization was requested by Judge Daniel Rafecas in the framework of a case that originated after the declassification of a CIA document.
The alert issued by Interpol specifies that Cherutti is accused of having participated, "as the author", in "
illegal deprivation of liberty of a total of 108 people
, aggravated illegal deprivation of liberty -due to its duration of more than a month of 7 people-, application of torment with respect to 104 people and child abduction with respect to 2 people, and additionally he is attributed the commission as primary accomplice of the
aggravated homicide of 19 people
".
Rafecas, in charge of Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 3, resolved the request to Interpol after the arrest of Patricio Finnen, also a former SIDE agent accused of crimes against humanity and for diverting the investigation into the attack to AMIA.

Cherutti is being investigated for his role in the "Automotores Orletti center" and also for his
actions in a clandestine center managed by the SIDE
.
That clandestine detention center operated in a house located at Bacacay 3570, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Floresta.
Like his brother Miguel Ángel, Daniel Cherutti is a native of Cañuelas but would currently be based in Italy.
According to the local media outlet Infocañuelas, "around 2011 he settled in the Pettenasco Commune in the province of Novara, Piedmont region, with the intention of opening a restaurant."
