Tenants of this duplex, which is located in a building on the first line of the sea in the project Ir Yamim in Netanya, they are a couple and have 3 children.

The family lived abroad and immigrated to Israel right before entering the apartment. "Their dream was that I would design the apartment for them when they immigrated to Israel," says designer Yanai Prisher Gutman

.

And my goal was to bring the sea inside as much as possible and integrate it as part of the design, so that the wonderful blue view is reflected from every space in the house," he says.

Are there sunsets like this?

All the planning was done by remote control before the tenants immigrated to Israel and most of the furniture was purchased on a joint trip to Italy.

The tenants' son immigrated to Israel before them and lives in Israel permanently, while their two daughters still live abroad and come to Israel for visits often. Therefore, it was important to the clients that each child have their own room. The son, who lives in Israel and comes more often, got a suite with a bathroom.

"The family immigrated to Israel right at the time of moving into the apartment, so they were not in Israel during the entire renovation, planning and construction process," says Prischer Gutman. "Everything is done in front of them by remote control, which can sometimes make it difficult for the customer.

In this case, the clients trusted me with their eyes closed and gave me a free hand to fly with my design concept.

This is one of the reasons I was able to design them the house of their dreams."

"The challenge in this project was to take a standard duplex apartment and turn it into a super designed apartment in a foreign style that matches the character and lifestyle of the customers," says Prischer Gutman. For them, an atmosphere that matches their character and lifestyle.

That's why it's very important for me to have as open conversations as possible with the customers at the very beginning of the introduction process."

"The ventilation system arrived disassembled into parts, and it had to be assembled in the apartment."

On the entrance floor is the central space that includes the living room and kitchen and the parents' master suite.

From the living room and kitchen area there is an exit to a large balcony through huge showcases in a double space at a height of 6.5 meters, and through them the crazy view of the sea is reflected.

On the balcony, Frischer Gutman placed a comfortable living room seating system, where the residents and their guests can lie down and breathe in the pleasant and fresh air of the sea.

A round dining table that is also placed on the balcony allows you to dine and entertain outside in front of a dreamy sunset.

On top of the central wall in the living room, a custom-made molding system was designed, which utilizes and emphasizes the full height of the double space, and is made of frames that wrap around the wall from floor to ceiling, adding a lot of style and atmosphere to the space.

"The ventilation system arrived disassembled into parts, and it had to be assembled in the apartment," says the designer.

Amazing duplexes that have to be seen to be believed:

like a private house, but inside a building: an elegant garden apartment with a huge yard

This is probably one of the most spectacular apartments designed this year in Israel

They had to lift it into the apartment with a crane, but it is a wonderful element that completely "jumps up the space".

Between the living room and the kitchen stands a huge dining table 3 meters long with a surface made of natural stone.

The tiles in the kitchen are made of natural "super white" granite stone, and the carpentry facades are covered with bleached and varied veneer in a grayish greige tone, which blend in perfectly with the monochromatic color palette in the space.

The original built staircase that was in the duplex was replaced by a staircase designed by Prischer Gutman.

"Since the staircase is located in a central area of the space, it was important to me that it be light, sculptural, modern, and specially designed, so I designed it with a much more minimalist design and not as heavy as it was."

The stairs lead to the upper floor which is a gallery floor, which overlooks the entire central space area and the breathtaking sea view.

In the gallery, Prischer Gutman placed a small living room seating system and two small tables made of Carrara marble.

Since music is a central part of the lives of the residents of the house, a grand piano is also placed in the gallery, which (as well as the huge dining table on the main floor) had to be lifted into the apartment with a special crane.

"It was important for the members of the house to hear the piano being played in every area of the house, that's why I placed it in a central and exposed area that overlooks the central area of the space. The piano is also a fantastic design element for everything and completely enhances the look of the space," says the designer.

To create a warm feeling reminiscent of a hotel, Prischer Gutman chose to cover most of the walls with carpentry (Photo: Uri Ackerman)

To create a warm feeling that reminds a bit of a hotel, Prischer Gutman chose to cover most of the walls in the central space and the gallery with carpentry.

On the walls that were left bare, modern works of art were hung that add a twist and finally stylize the space.

Almost all the furniture and accessories in the house were imported from abroad.

It was easier and more convenient for them to purchase abroad because they were not yet living in Israel at the time," explains Prischer Gutman.

"The entire furniture was carefully selected and blends in perfectly with the dominant elements, but each element in the space has its own presence."

Yanai's personal touch in the bedrooms

In the bedrooms, the designer added his personal touch with the help of a bedding collection of his personal design.

"One of the most important things for me in creating an atmosphere in bedrooms is to give a design emphasis and softness with the help of the textiles in the room, therefore in this project, as in my other projects in the last year, I used my luxury bedding line (Home Collection By Yanai Fryszer Guttman). This collection is what always I was lacking in projects, and she fit me like a glove to complete the look of the bedrooms, and took it to another level," he says.

In the master suite, the bed was placed so that it faced the sea and in front of it were placed two off-white fur armchairs that bring a lot of softness to the room and between them a small round table made of Carrara marble.

The room also has access to a balcony that also overlooks the stunning view.

"When I plan and design large bedrooms, I always like to place a seating system and make a kind of small and intimate seating area, which allows you to experience the space not only for sleeping but also for entertaining. The seating area in the bedroom enriches the design and gives it the fragrance of a hotel suite. And when a view is reflected Spectacular from the windows, like in this project, so it actually upgrades the look."

On the way to the bathroom, there is a huge Hollywood closet, with glass doors in a bronze shade, and full of shelving, hanging and storage places.

The bathroom is made entirely of natural black granite stone tiles, which rise from the floor along the entire length of the high walls and create a dramatic, elegant and passionate look.

"I chose to break this tailored look with the help of a white "free standing" bathtub from Corian, which is located at the entrance to the bathroom, and gives off a bright sparkle that really makes you want to jump into it."

The cabinets in the bathroom of the master suite, as in the rest of the children's bathrooms, were custom made by a professional carpenter, and behind all the mirrors in the bathrooms are hidden niches for cosmetics and storage.

The bathroom in the son's suite is covered entirely in black porcelain granite tiles, and it also has a large utility closet, which is also covered in the same tile.

Even the closet is covered in black granite tiles.

The girls, who do not live in Israel and come to visit less frequently, share a common bathroom.

"In this bathroom, I chose huge tiles made of pressed porcelain granite material in the pattern "Gid continues Calcutta" in shades of white and gray, along the entire length of the walls that go down to the floor and fit together as one piece."

On the floor of the central space there are also guest toilets, which are lined with polymer wall coverings and carpentry, with a standing sink made of natural granite stone, and a faucet that descends from the ceiling.

In addition, Prischer Gutman designed a frame system that hangs from the ceiling and a semi-circular mirror full of style.

Inside the wall covering, a hidden utility closet was designed with a little more storage space - of which there is never enough.
