Serious incident in the Ukrainian city of Brovary, near Kyiv.
A helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in a residential area.
The Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyj was killed, as well as his deputy and the state secretary of the ministry.
According to the authorities, at least 18 people died, including three children.
There are also numerous injuries.
According to the responsible regional governor, there were children and employees in the kindergarten at the time of the crash.
It is still unclear why the helicopter crashed.
State broadcaster Suspilne reports that the plane belonged to Ukraine's state emergency services.
At first there was no information as to why the Interior Ministry leadership was traveling by helicopter.
