As part of the Children’s Theater Festival, which is held by the Directorate of Theaters and Music at the Ministry of Culture, on the occasion of the school holiday, the stage of Al-Qabbani Theater in Damascus will host the theatrical performance “The Great Victory”, directed and written by Suhail Oqla.
Regarding the play, its director explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the show is composed of two central characters who represent good in the role of Hakeem, who tries to eradicate evil and aggression from human thought and replaces them with goodness, kindness and love, and evil in the role of Klim, who works in the completely opposite direction, permanently trying to sabotage all plans and constructive experiences of Hakeem. Under the control of Ballistic, which is an expression of the countries of colonialism and domination that are trying hard to destroy peoples, erase their civilization and culture, and control the thought of their peoples, but the strength of the brave knights and their absolute belief in the authority of truth and good and its capabilities in confronting evil raise the banner of great victory and eradicate evil and aggression so that goodness, peace and security prevail in the country.
Uqla pointed out that children's theater is one of the best educational and awareness-raising means for cultivating the values of goodness and humanity and enlightening the minds of the new generation on the foundations of construction and development and creating artistic and scientific creative trends in their imaginations, pointing to the importance of harnessing all theatrical tools from scenography, music and singing to present ideas in an effective way.
Meanwhile, actor Hamdi Oqla stated that the theater provided him with acting experiences as a twelve-year-old child and developed his talent and artistic passion, expressing his happiness in participating in the show and presenting him with a role full of purposeful and noble human values.
