Pension reform: on the left, as united as the unions

Yannick Jadot, the ex-presidential candidate of the ecologists and MEP will parade in Strasbourg, the socialist president of the group in the Senate, Patrick Kanner, will be at home in Lille and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, at the head of the Insoumis, will be at Marseilles.


It's a union protest.

As such, Thursday from the Place de la République in Paris, the Insoumis political leaders, socialists, environmentalists and communists will not walk at the head of the procession.

According to tradition, they will stay on their "fixed points" and will not start until the very end.

This time however, the unfailing political unity of the Nupes joins an exceptional union unity.

To mark this event on the left, a delegation of parliamentarians, Assembly and Senate, should go to greet the head square at the very beginning of the afternoon.

These elected officials are those who discreetly took part, on November 9 and 10, in two days of hearings with all union officials.

The initiative had been proposed and organized by the national secretary of the PCF and deputy of the North, Fabien Roussel.
