The Governor of Rif Dimashq, Safwan Abu Saadi, asked the Passenger Transportation Committee in the governorate to create an automated survey program for public vehicles and vehicles operating on all lines, and to study them fully.

The governor explained during a meeting with the committee today in the governorate building that the aim of creating the program is to provide accurate and correct information on the preparation of public and private vehicles and their lines.

The governor instructed the Director of Transportation in Rif Dimashq to count the number of unmarked cars for more than a year to obtain an accurate number of operating vehicles, and to detect leaked vehicles within their line, stressing the need to monitor the flow of movement and ensure that drivers adhere to movement within the announced lines.

On the other hand, the governor asked the Education Directorate of Rural Damascus for a map showing the distribution of schools, their types, and the buildings that need restoration, specifying its type, whether it is partial or complete.

During the meeting of the school map committee in the governorate building, the governor stressed the need to note playgrounds, spaces and theaters within the school buildings that will be constructed, and directed the members of the committee to follow up the process of maintaining schools that were subjected to sabotage operations, and rehabilitating them during this year as a priority.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Education, Maher Farag, and a member of the relevant executive office, Ghaleb Al-Zoghbi.
