Search in one of the main pension funds of the liberal professions

Judicial information has been opened against the Cipav for "fraud in an organized gang, embezzlement, forgery and use of forgery".


While the government defends its pension reform and asks the French to work longer until the age of 64, one of the main pension funds for the liberal professions is in the crosshairs of justice, suspected of various embezzlements to the detriment of its pensioners.

According to our information, the headquarters of Cipav, located in Paris, was searched on Tuesday as part of an investigation entrusted to a Parisian investigating judge.

The latter, Pascal Gastineau, decided to open last year a judicial investigation for “organized gang fraud, misappropriation, forgery and use of forgery”.

Among other points that it wishes to clarify, the courts are looking into the conditions of sale of buildings held by this organization which deals with architects, surveyors, consulting engineers, osteopaths, psychologists or even ski instructors.
